Mutt Shots is only a play on words. Whether a registered breed or a Heinz-hound, every dog is a champion in its own way.
I like to move in low, focus on the dog's eyes, and take as many shots as possible. Usually this works well with dogs I know, or rather, with dogs who know me. Aggressive dogs look straight down the barrel of the lens. Even with timid subjects, I am usually lucky enough to capture a quick peek in my direction.
